1. Read this article Jammie Thomas lawyers file suit against Scribdby Greg Sandoval (September 19, 2009), published on CNet.

• On the one hand we know that what we write/produce/create is our intellectual property & the copyright laws apply, however the reality today is that its very easy to copy and reproduce original materials. Camara & Sibley ask whether its okay that copyright is only applied when the copyright holder complains.
• Does this mean we have to become our own copyright police too? What can/will you do to keep track of your intellectual property?
